Welcome to "THIS OLD FLAME": 100% Beeswax Candles Hand-Crafted in Peterborough, Ontario

Our business is beeswax - beautiful beeswax candles - the healthy and natural choice for accent lighting in your home. Using pure 100% beeswax from Ontario beekeepers, our candles come in all shapes and sizes: tea lights, votives, pillars and tapers, as well as an array of lovely containers, both modern and traditional, many of them "up-cycled." All our candles are hand-poured, hand-dipped and hand-rolled in our home. There are no scents added and no artificial dyes are used -- only organic vegetable dyes and natural dyes from herbs and spices. The white wax has been whitened using an environmentally-friendly charcoal process (no bleaching). Only cotton wicks are used. You can choose candles that are completely plain, or ones decorated with pressed and dried flowers from our garden, decoupage, or other creative designs.
